Minka Reflections

Minka is an inspiration for such stars as Dolly Fox and Elizabeth Star. She also takes care of many dogs, has a vegetable garden and travels to tennis events. Minka is a very competitive person. In an interview, Minka stated that she believes it’s all a result of tennis. “I had to be responsible for myself. As soon as I started middle school, it was me on my feet. My responsibility was to care for myself. I received a scholarship in middle school. In highschool, I received a scholarship. In college, I received a scholarship. No one was going to assist me. When you do not take care of your own needs, then you are finished. When I first came to America in 1994, yes, I did cry a lot. What will I do? I can’t find a work. In my childhood, tennis was all I ever wanted, but I realized that I needed to be independent when I moved to America. Now I have it all. “I have my dogs. I cook very well. I own a Mercedes. I live in a huge house. Anything I wish to purchase, I am able to do so. You can choose to slow down. Life is precious, so enjoy and be your best.
